My name is Bryan Fouquet. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in May of 2007. I am a die-hard Texas Longhorns fan, but I love sports in general. I grew up in a sports driven household thanks to my father. Both my sister and I participated in sports growing up. This gave me a great appreciation for all of the things that sports represents. Football is my favorite sport. I am one of those people that thinks football has two seasons that are of equal importance, the regular season and the offseason. Football is not the only sport I follow. Basketball, Baseball, Golf, MMA, Hockey, The Olympics, and the X-Games are all sports that interest me. My goal here at Sports Collision is to explore the ways in which sports affects society. My articles will tend to focus on the actions of professional sports figures as well as the organizations they work for, and then examine the place of those actions in our society. As a side note, I also have another project that I am working on. Sports is a great passion of mine, but so is the world at large. In an effort to expand my take on subjects outside of sports, I have another website called Your World My Take, www.yourworldmytake.com, that offers my perspective on many of the issues and stories affecting our daily lives. If you enjoy my writing on Sports Collision, then please check out Your World My Take for more of my ramblings on various topics.
