Bizarre, But Awesome
First, read this story.
How awesome is that? I know many people would take one look at the picture of that Georgia cheerleader and think steroids. Monster. Bizarre.
But why? Because she decides to stay fit and workout? Does it threaten us as men that she is probably stronger than us, and as women judge her for being to manly?
Well I for one love it. And I’ve said before that I don’t find really muscular women attractive. But what is awesome is her beliefs, and her willingness to stand up for them even in the face of a big contract. She declined steroids.
And while she is not a competitive athlete, neither are many people who do. Athletes take steroids to boost performance, thereby earning a fatter contract. More money. In that modeling scenario, the steroids would have boosted her muscles, making her more attractive to modeling firms, earning her a fatter contract.
Props to her for sticking to her guns.
