Is Eli the better Manning?
I’m not going to lie, I hate the New York Giants, but that’s because I love the Dallas Cowboys. However, I have been impressed with the way Eli Manning has been playing especially toward the end of the season and into the playoffs so far. It’s as if something clicked in the second half of this season and is finally looking like an elite quarterback. I would classify an elite quarterback that can put the ball anywhere and make a play. So I ask the question, if Eli, little brother of a four time MVP, wins Super Bowl 46, will he be the better Manning?
Before the season started, Eli stated he was an elite quarterback when compared to Tom Brady. The media conglomerates, sports radios show, and sport bloggers sounded like they couldn’t believe he would put himself up there. I wonder what they will think if he manages to win his second super bowl, one more than his big brother, tied with Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, and one less than NFL golden boy, Tom Brady.
It is often said, players are measured on how many championships they win. One solidify your career, but two puts you in special company. To win one is hard, but to win two can be harder.
