Stephen Curry goes down again!!

Steph Curry is Mr. Glass

Stephen Curry has had a rough season as far as dealing with injuries and his game against the Spurs was no different.  Curry was shooting the lights out of the AT&T Center, going 7-11 with 20 points and 8 assists toward the end of the 3rd quarter.  That was when his Grant Hill-like ankle took him down to the hardwood again.

With 2:56 left in the 3rd quarter, Curry was bringing the ball up the court and somehow flipped his ankle and IMMEDIATELY started hobbling.  [audio:http://tmp.sportscollision.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Curry-on-how-the-injury-happened2.mp3|titles=Curry on how the injury happened] Tim Duncan stole the ball and was fouled by Warrios Forward Ekpe Udoh to stop the play.  Curry limped off the court and eventually back to the locker room.

After the game, Curry was sitting with his head in a towel and icing his right ankle.  When he asked about how severe he felt the injury was, he said he gauges it with the trainer on how much pain he feels in the moment.  [audio:http://tmp.sportscollision.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Curry-on-how-severe-he-thinks-it-is.mp3|titles=Curry on how severe he thinks it is]

The addition of Guard Nate Robinson to the Warriors could not have come at a better time, though Head Coach Marc Jackson said that Robinson would get playing time even if Curry was healthy.  [audio:http://tmp.sportscollision.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Jackson-on-signing-Nate-Robinson.mp3|titles=Jackson on signing Nate Robinson]  The Warriors, who are 2-4, hate to lose a game that they led most of the way, but I am sure the loss of Curry for any significant time, would be much worse.
