August 1st, 2011, New York City, NY. A warm, casual night by normal standards in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan. But yesterday evening, in a rather ordinary setting, something extraordinary occurred. An NBA superstar graced the legendary courts of Rucker Park. Now that in and of itself is not so spectacular, as many NBA players throughout the years have paid “the mecca of street hoops” a visit. In fact, players who became famous and received an opportunity in “the League” owe it to the players who visited. But, none may have had an experience quite like Kevin Durant.
