Video: The Lightest Cleat Ever – Adidas
Adidas has trailed Nike forever and up and comer Under Armour has really been putting the screws to the brand for the performance footwear category. Well it seems Adidas has decided to fight back with the unveiling of the adiZero 5 Star. According to Nice Kicks the lightest football cleat ever which will be available for $100 in April, 2011.
Adidas has Eric Berry and CJ Spiller compare the weight of their newest shoe adiZero 5 Star to a number of household objects. Then it gets good, the duo takes a pair of scissors to Nike’s lightest shoe the Vapor Trail to see just how much they have to cut away before they even out on the balance.
