Mascot-on-Mascot Crime
Look, I’m a Bobcat. I rep Texas State to the fullest. This loyalty has caused me to root for other Bobcats too, even when not related to my university. So, this past weekend when Ohio University mascot, Rufus the Bobcat, attacked Brutus Buckeye of Ohio State in an attempt to take down the big boy in the state, I thought it was funny. Earlier this week, Ohio University apologized for the mascot-on-mascot crime prior to the game and has, as such, banned the mascoteer from all future athletic evetns. Too bad. For that kind of punishment I bet he wishes he got a better hit. I guess that’s why he’s a mascot and not on the field of play.
