NFL Draft: 2010
Will Sam Bradford go number 1? Probably. Will the Steelers trade Big Ben and move into the top 10? Probably not. Will it all start to go down tonight? Yes.
The NFL Draft is upon us and despite the NHL and NBA playoffs, MLB season and College baseball and softball well underway, all I can seem to think about is Mel Kiper and Todd McShay’s draft board. I run scenario after scenario in my head. I think about my friends in the NFL and how does this draft effect them. I think about how my team can get better, how other teams in my division will get better. All of it. But starting tonight, we’ll know the answer to, at least, most of those questions.
If you’ve got to work late, or can’t get to a T.V. you can check out information on your prospects, live updates from Round 1, news and video surrounding the draft all from the NFL’s draft widget. You can even grab it and put it on your own page or profile.
I am glad that Jimmy Clausen and Tim Tebow have both declined the NFL’s invitation to attend the draft. Though I really enjoyed watching Brady Quin sit there and squirm for so long, I wouldn’t enjoy someone less ‘douchebag’ doing the same thing. Brady Quinn deserved it. Clausen and Tebow don’t.
Whats my bold prediction for tonight? My bold prediction of the draft is that nobody will understand what the Raiders do, and everyone will think their team did great. Oh.. wait. You said BOLD predictions. I think the Browns will jump back up to the first round to take Colt McCoy, who I think will be available at their 2nd round pick. I’m really interested to see where he goes. I think he could be a good NFL Quarterback, but he’ll need some support around him. Cleveland ain’t that. :/
What do you want to see? So what are you hoping for tonight? Who do you want your team to draft?

The opening rounds of the draft came and went with no mention of trading Ben Roethlisberger.
That must have made Roger Goodell very happy.
I’m sure the last thing he wanted in his prime time extravaganza was more mention of Big Ben.
