Watching opening night of the NBA last night got me thinking about the Streetball, playing at the rec and shoes. As a self-proclaimed sneaker head (But I’m married, so I’ve got restrictions on the shoes I can buy….) I always am excited about basketball season. All the latest shoes come out and are debuted. Last night was the first time I saw this commercial… and I’ll admit it got my juices flowing. I watched this and was ready to hit the gym and not come home. It still gives me chills as I’ve watched it 3 times while writing this. Jordan’s new campaign Break To Build is eerily similar to Converse’s “Fall down 7, Get up 8″ which was another that really got me ready to go. |
Speaking of Converse, apparently the struggling shoe brand decided to relinquish Dwayne Wade to another Nike subsidiary in Jordan. I think its a better fit… much better shoes will come out of it.
