Jets Showcase Throwback Uniforms

Today the New York Jets showcased their throwback road uniforms. Last year we saw the home Titans uniforms with Brett Favre taking the helm.  Now it seems we’ll get  to see the Titans road uniforms — white jerseys and gold pants with navy and gold trim — with rookie QB Mark Sanchez under center.  These uniforms are set to make their debuts October 25^th at Oakland and Safety Kerry Rhodes clearly likes them.

Though the Jets and the NFL both claim this it to “honor the 50th anniversary of the American Football League with the eight AFL teams’ original uniforms” we all know it is just a ploy to sell more merchandise.  Well, this some merchandise I just may have to get.
