Should the Cowboys raise the scoreboard?

We all saw it happen.  It was rumored before the 1.2 Billion dollar stadium was even completed. And Tennessee Titan’s punter A.J. Trapasso was the first to hit the multi-million dollar babysitter in the third quarter of the opening game at the new Cowboys Stadium.  While I feel that the screen should be raised, I’m not sure who should pay for it.  The screen is a full 5ft higher than the 85ft required by the NFL. If the the competition committee and the NFL want to force the Dallas Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones to raise the mammoth screen, then maybe the NFL should pay for it. Had the NFL regulations been set to 105ft then undoubtedly the stadium would have been built to that specification. So then the fault is on the NFL.

The argument about the screen being raised for the U2 concert, in my opinion, is moot. Clearly, that was negotiated in the concert contract and Jerry Jones feels the couple of million dollars required is worth it.

What are your thoughts? Should the Cowboys and Jerry Jones pay for the screen to be moved? Or should the NFL?
