I know what you’re thinking. “More stuff about Joe Paterno?” And in some way, you may be right. He is all over the media right now. ESPN had its ticker lined with Penn State/JoePa/funeral/reactions. However, let me counter with this: If Sandusky had never done what he did, how much more would Paterno be immortalized? Here is an easy answer: infinitely.

I’m not going to lie, I hate the New York Giants, but that’s because I love the Dallas Cowboys. However, I have been impressed with the way Eli Manning has been playing especially toward the end of the season and into the playoffs so far. It’s as if something clicked in the second half of this season and is finally looking like an elite quarterback. I would classify an elite quarterback that can put the ball anywhere and make a play. So I ask the question, if Eli, little brother of a four time MVP, wins Super Bowl 46, will he be the better Manning?

Jerry Sandusky has done enough hasn’t he? First he commits one of the worst possible crimes in the history of humanity. How in the hell can he possibly justify being naked with young boys? And when asked if he is sexually attracted to young boys, he took about 15 seconds to answer the question and then asked if Bob Costas could clarify the question. ARE YOU KIDDING??? There are young boys out there right now dealing with the horror that they have gone through. Now one more set of people are dealing with it……………….the Paterno family.
